One of the requirements for the Double Exposure and the Duo-Tone project was to remove the backgrounds of your images. I what tools or techniques did you use to remove it? Were there some tools or techniques that worked better for you than others?

The tools and techniques that I used to select my focused where the pen tool and selection through the use of channels. I believe that the selection through the use of channels was the best way to select small details such as fine hairs and furs.

What are the advantages of using a Layer Mask to create the Double Exposure effect?

The advantages of using the layer mask tool took create these effects where being able to play around with opacity and what was exposed and what was not.

For the Duo-Tone, you had to experiment with mixing Channels and Background colors. Did you try something different with you background like a Gradient?

I did attempt to use a gradient background, however, I much more preferred the more pleasing, simplistic effect given by a plain background. I prefer the focus to be on the actual piece rather than the background.
